Learning at Work Week

Taking place from 12 to 18 May 2025, Learning at Work Week (LAW Week), led nationally by the Campaign for Learning is a unique event to put a spotlight on the importance and benefits of continual learning and development at work.

Each year, thousands of organisations run vibrant, creative learning campaigns and activities which promote a learning culture, stimulate curiosity, support business goals and engage employees in learning.

The activities that companies run range from non-work related and interest-led activities through award ceremonies to business focused sessions.

At TWC Draincare, our team are continually learning at work by:

  • Completing regular formal health and safety training with the Construction Industry Training Board. It’s a huge priority for us to ensure that the team is up to date and fully aware of correct procedures, both to protect them and our customers.
  • The team have also learnt about and hold certifications in other areas including Working at Heights and Working in Confined Spaces.
  • We hold regular ToolBox talks with our team to address concerns, issues and changes in legislation.
  • Maintain our CHAS certification. For us, this does not just mean doing what is necessary according to the standards but doing what is right.

In doing this, we’re ensuring our team of engineers are as skilled and safe as they can be when they’re out doing their jobs. Enabling them to focus on what matters to you, keeping those drains flowing smoothly.

Why take part in Learning at Work Week?

The reasons for taking part will vary based on your business and goals. However, opportunities that may arise from participation include:
